Unangemessene Inhalte melden
Jemand belästigt Dich oder schreibt anstößige Inhalte? Am schnellsten hilft die Melden-Funktion direkt in der App: Direkt unter der Flaschenpost auf ⚑ Melden tippen (oder oben rechts über ⋮ → „Melden“). Die Person wird dabei sofort für Dich blockiert, und wir sehen die Meldung mit dem betroffenen Text.
Du kannst unangemessene Inhalte oder Personen auch per E-Mail melden: info@bottlemail.de. Wir prüfen jede Meldung innerhalb von 24 Stunden, löschen anstößige Inhalte und sperren die verantwortliche Person dauerhaft.
Konto löschen
In der App: ☰ oben rechts → ganz unten „Konto löschen“ → bestätigen. Dein Konto, Deine Flaschenpost, Deine Gespräche und Nachrichten werden sofort vollständig gelöscht.
Ohne App: Schreib eine E-Mail an info@bottlemail.de mit dem Betreff „Konto löschen“ – bitte von der E-Mail-Adresse Deines Google-Kontos (bzw. Deiner Apple-ID), mit der Du Dich bei Bottlemail angemeldet hast. Wir löschen das Konto dann innerhalb weniger Tage und bestätigen es Dir.

Report inappropriate content
Someone is harassing you or posting objectionable content? The fastest help is the Report function in the app: tap ⚑ Report directly below the message in a bottle (or ⋮ at the top right → “Report”). The person is blocked for you immediately, and we see the report with the text concerned.
You can also report inappropriate content or users by email: info@bottlemail.de. We review every report within 24 hours, remove objectionable content and permanently ban the person responsible.
Delete your account
In the app: ☰ at the top right → “Delete account” at the bottom → confirm. Your account, messages in a bottle, conversations and messages are deleted immediately and completely.
Without the app: Send an email to info@bottlemail.de with the subject “Delete account” – please from the email address of the Google account (or Apple ID) you used to sign in to Bottlemail. We will delete the account within a few days and confirm it to you.
